![]() ![]() ![]() So, what do you think? Will you be getting these palettes? The intensity of these powders falls in between Becca and theBalm – Becca being the most shimmery and theBalm providing a good amount of shimmer. I applied about two layers to get it to my desired intensity and for even more pop, the powders can be applied wet. The texture of the powders are not as soft or buttery as some of the other popular highlighters on the market, but these powders still apply beautifully. These two palettes have a lot of similarities to a bunch of popular highlighters on the market. The pinker powders were very subtle on my skin but was still really pretty – I’d say it made me look like I was glowing from within.Īlso something to keep in mind is that Mimosa, Bubbly, and Dripping Gold are very very similar. The contrast of my warm skin tone and a cool highlighter is just what I want when I want my highlighter to be seen from across the room :P. I think those with my skin tone can get by using this palette if you want a more intense looking highlight. That Glow might contain shades that aren’t light enough to “highlight” fair skin and may look like a bronzer instead. If you’re on the fairer side and want to highlight, Gleam might be the better option. I prefer to bronze up with a matte powder, but I think strategically placing a shimmer bronzer on your high points will add a beautiful sheen to your glow. If you love that bronzy glow, you’re going to love these. Now, I use the word “theoretically” because I think both warm or cool toned can work with this palette. Skin tones that are warm and on the tanner side should theoretically reach for these. The packaging is also cardboard like the Contour Kits, which I’m not a fan of, but I can’t really complain since it housed my Contour Kits pretty well with no damage. Just like the Contour Kits, the pans are removable if you prefer to use your own magnetic palettes. The powders are multipurpose and can be used on the face, eyes or body. There are two kits available depending on the type of tone you prefer: That Glow (warm) and Gleam (cool). In honor of the founder’s birthday, the Glow Kit is a new product from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line containing four metallic powders. Anastasia Glow Kits Review & Swatches (c/o) ![]()
